In this project we were assigned a country. We had to study our country and find out where the country stands with the Venezuelan Refugee Crisis. We then made preparations to participate in a MUN conference. In this conference we gave speeches that addressed our country’s perspective on a resolution that was written by a classmate with another country. Then we voted and ended the conference.

Project Reflection When I think about this project I am extremely proud of my final essay. I revised my essay multiple times and I feel like it was truly some of my best work. I went in to this project ready to work and really ready to make the best of it and produce the best work I could. I took my first draft and made into something I could really be proud of and something that I really wanted to own. I took pride in the process and never gave up, even when it got tough.
I think the most difficult piece of this project was setting up the interview and getting the photo. This was difficult because the person I interviewed lives in Europe and that makes it really hard to get a matching time that we are both free to meet for an hour. With regards to the picture I just had a hard time telling him how to take it and getting him to get it to me in a timely fashion. I think the most important thing that I learned with this project would be to never stop revising. There is always room to improve your writing and it will never be the best it can be. I found myself constantly working on my essay in my free time and I still know that I could make it better and that it will never be the best that it can be. But overall I feel that I was very strong in continuing to work on my essay and that I used all of my allowed time to make it the best that it could be in that time frame. In this project in particular I feel that I was extremely diligent and met all the “10” requirements and even exceeded a few. When I go back and think on my work ethic in this project I do not have a thing that I would change. I feel like I was always working hard keeping up with the daily agenda and didnt turn anything in late. I was focused and checking with Lori. I had all of my work ready for critiques and never failed to check the starter and daily plan. Overall I feel that I scored a solid 10 on this project and I am extremely proud of the way that it turned out. |
